The mission of ALF Highway Kids is to provide a safe, fun and exciting learning environment where God’s Word is presented in a relevant way to kids, to help them know, love and follow Jesus! It is our desire and goal to link with parents to “train their children in the way they should go, so when they are old they will not depart from it” Prov. 22:6. This goal is accomplished through our three core values.
Our Core Values
- We are a Bible Zone where the Bible and the power of the Gospel is taught in everything we do. It is important for our kids to know right from wrong at an early age, which will help them make decisions as a teenager and then as an adult.
- We are a Relationship Zone that provides an environment where children are loved unconditionally, valued immeasurably, and accepted wholeheartedly. The children don’t care how much we know until they first know how much we care.
- We are a Safe Zone that provides an environment that is clean, fun, age appropriate and also physically, mentally, and emotionally safe. All our volunteers complete a background check and fingerprinting before becoming a certified volunteer. The safety and well being of our children is priority! Highway Kids are our future, and we consider it an honor and privilege to be a part of their journey in discovering God’s purpose for their lives!
