As our breath comes in and goes out, we breathe in and breathe out the presence and the glory of God!
The Bible says God’s Word is inspired. That word “inspired” in the Greek means “breath.” We are inspired by the breath of God. The Word of God is inspired by the breath of God. The Word of God is the inspired breath of God by the Holy Spirit; the Pneuma; the breath of God.
The Bible says in Psalm 150:6, “let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” I think every time we breathe we need to praise the Lord!
Evangelist Guy Peh does an entire teaching on God about “breathe in and breathe out.” The breathing in and breathing out is not the focus. It’s the symbolism; it is the spiritual truths that are connected to it. Just as Oral Roberts, back many years ago would tell people, “stretch your hand out. Put your hand on your TV as a point of contact; as a point of releasing your faith…” That’s the same thing that I’m asking you to do. As a point of contact, release your faith and breathe in as big as you can and just breathe out.
Recognize that breath was given to you by God.
Without the breath of God you will die. We have natural breath; but even that natural breath came from the Spirit of the Lord. Today, just let Him blow a wind; a breath into your heart. Let Him blow away religion and blow in life, love and relationship. Breathe in the joy of God; breathe in the blessing of God; breathe in all that He has for you.
Let this be your prayer: “God, I’m taking this breath as if I was right next to You. When I breathe out, may my life be symbolic of the breath going out. When I breathe on people let your sons and daughters prophesy! I want the breath of God coming out of me to come with life and love upon all that I come in contact with.”
It’s an act of faith!
It’s a simple act of faith! Lift your hands and close your eyes. Breathe in and breathe out and focus on the Spirit of God! Literally begin glorifying and thanking God for the honor and the privilege you have to breathe.
The truth is, there is something far beyond the natural breath. It takes an act of faith on our part! We breathe in the Spirit of the living God by faith and we breathe out the glory and the power of God by faith.
Listen church, we are carriers of the breath of God!
Can these dry bones live? God, I don’t know… You know. Prophesy! Breathe breath of God! Prophesy son of man and say to these dry bones LIVE!!! Stand on your feet and be the great army God’s called you to be! (Ezekiel 37)
I say that to you today… Live! Live man of God! Live woman of God! Live as you breathe in and breathe out. Live and let that breath be used to glorify your Father! Let that breath be used to blow God’s wind and breath on others. Let that breath be used to prophesy and speak on behalf of God; to be the breath of God with the Word of God on the inside of you. Let Him use you! Choose to be used by Him!
Prophesy! Prophesy hope! Prophesy destiny! Prophesy the glory! Prophesy revival! Prophesy prosperity into your life! Prophesy your healing! Prophesy your strength! Prophesy over your household! Prophesy over your community! Prophesy over this nation and this world! Come on son of God, son of man. Come on daughter of God, daughter of man! Prophesy!
This is my prayer and I hope yours as well: “God help me to understand this… help us to understand this… the power that is in us… the breath of God by the Holy Spirit; the Pneuma! God help us be more conscious of the breath of God. Breath of God, Spirit of the living God; BREATHE on us. May the breath, the wind of God, blow in me… blow in us. We are desperate for Your breath!”
I appreciate so much the breath of God! I hope you do too! RECEIVE what He has for you!
